What we do
The Respiratory Research Group does high quality, interdisciplinary research into the cause and consequence of respiratory diseases.
Key research areas include:
Examining the response to inhaled environmental pollutants. Such pollutants can be divided into indoor (for example air fresheners, smoke from fires / cooking) or out door pollutants (for example traffic related air pollution). We have multicellular in-vitro models of the airway and in-vivo models to investigate the biological responses.
